The property is located at 2002 Avenue R, just south of the North Carrier Parkway and East of the Great Southwest Parkway. The property is owned by ML Realty Partners headquartered in Addison, Texas.
Professional Packaging Systems is a national discount supplier of plastic packaging products including polyethylene bags, sheeting, shrink film, stretch film and foam.

Massoud Real Estate purchased the industrial building at 8401 Westland West Blvd. in Houston, Texas for $5.46 million, or approximately $46 per square foot.Delivered in 1986, the class B industrial building totals 118,000 square feet. The building is part of the Westland Business Park, and sits on a 7-acre lot. The buyer will use the property as a distribution center for its specialty foods company, Euro-Mid, Inc.

Berkeley Land Co., Inc. purchased the Briar Lake Village shopping center located at 10925 Briar Forest Drive in Houston for $16 million, or approximately $445 per square foot.Delivered in 2006, the 36,000-square-foot class A shopping center sits on a 4.146-acre lot.
Berkeley Land Co. was represented in-house by Mike Mikulich. Rusty Tamlyn of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP represented the seller, Blex Exchange III.

September 4, 2007Atrium Center Sold for $31.6M
Houston
South Loop 2600 LLC purchased the Atrium Corporate Center in Houston for $31.6 million, or almost $84 per square foot. The property was the up-leg in a 1031 exchange, and averaged 81.6% occupancy at the time of sale.The corporate center includes 2600, 2616, 2626, and 2656 South Loop Freeway West, and totals more than 378,127 square feet of rentable building area on a 12-acre site. Construction completed on the center in 1982, and has since undergone significant renovations including an upgraded HVAC system.
