South Loop 2600 LLC purchased the Atrium Corporate Center in Houston for $31.6 million, or almost $84 per square foot. The property was the up-leg in a 1031 exchange, and averaged 81.6% occupancy at the time of sale.
The corporate center includes 2600, 2616, 2626, and 2656 South Loop Freeway West, and totals more than 378,127 square feet of rentable building area on a 12-acre site. Construction completed on the center in 1982, and has since undergone significant renovations including an upgraded HVAC system.
